Long time couples often complain about diminishing communication. They interpret it being taken advantage of, taking for granted or worst of all loss of intimacy. To me that’s the greatest thing about it. To know some one so completely that you no longer need to speak openly, that with a glance or a touch you can communicate a thought or desire that can only be understood by some one who shares so much history with you, so much of your heart, is, to me, what love is all about :D
It’s amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I can never explain
What I hear when you don’t say a thing
The smile on your face let’s me know that you need me
There’s a truth in your eyes saying you’ll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best, when you say nothing at all
All day long I can hear people talking out loud (oh…)
But when you hold me near (oh, hold me near)
You drown out the crowd (drown out crowd)
Try as they may, they can never defy
What’s been said between your heart and mine
The smile on your face let me know that you need me
There’s a truth in your eyes saying you’ll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best, when you say nothing at all…oh
Oh, the smile on your face let’s I know that you need me
There’s a truth in your eyes saying you’ll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you’ll catch me wherever I fall
You say it best, when you say nothing at all
You say it best, when you say nothing at all
